Rapture Drill: Reframing Revelation, the End Times, and our Weird Obsession with the Apocalypse

I enjoy this podcast. The discussion of the end times is well thought out, interesting, and helpful. But on average, the content doesn’t start until about the 5 minute mark, and then the intro/recap goes on another 3 or 4 minutes, then a promo. If I was only moderately interested in this subject, I wouldn’t wait that long to get it; I’d move on.

Not sound biblical doctrine, just reimagining things to feel more comfortable. A noble effort to help people feel better, but that’s not what teaching the rapture is really about...

Wish you were boring & factual vs sounding as if you were 16 entertaining 6 year olds!!!! This is a subject I’ve really wanted to hear others theories. I have studied the other books of the Bible (keeping review short, but I have thoroughly studied w many dif lenses) But you are SO confusing because you are trying to be entertaining! The subject itself sells; if someone needs their hand held because it’s boring...then they aren’t ready for rediscovering revelations! So, I ask either you calm down & explain as if WE were your thesis you had to do..or stop trying to convince educated followers because I feel like I’m listening to a preteen or YOU are treating us as if we can’t understand simple things. For ex: You just said “Yeah like it likes to kill things and stuff!” ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I give 2 stars only because it’s new & may improve and that you have guts to speak of a subject that most think refers to the end...well I haven’t thought that for yrs, so I can’t stand half and half podcasts...either be educational or entertaining when it comes to THIS subject!

This Podcast, like the Paulcast, is great. I do not necessarily see eye-to-eye with Kurt BUT as most others, I appreciate the challenge of new perspectives. However, Kurt talks too much. It seems like it takes forever to get to the content and sometimes I’ve zoned out and have to rewind by the time he gets there. Less talky, more teachy!
