Good discourse on PbtA games
Two fun and knowledgeable hosts interview Powered by the Apocalypse (PbtA) game designers and have a short little actual play session of the game. They also dive into aspects of PbtA games and analyze a few movies to see how you could recreate them in PbtA games.
I’ve bought and played many a game that I first heard about on this show.
My favorite podcast!
A Podcast by the Apodcalypse
+1 Forward is an interesting show. When you start getting involved in PbtA games, there's almost this overwhelming desire to figure out how it all works and start evaluating it. You want to see what other games do, how far the design philosophy can be pushed. +1 Forward does just that, and in a way that makes you feel like you always had the answer with you. It brings material to you and helps talk through these games in a way that really shows you what's going on and mostly lets you take your own conclusions from it, and I greatly appreciate that.
