Walk Talks With Matt McMillen

I was a PK (pastors kid) and having grown up in a denominational church I didn’t realize how many things I was taught that were erroneous. I feel like I am hearing almost a different gospel. It’s so freeing and full of grace. Thank you Matt for teaching how to look at the Bible in context and not through a lens of fear.

Matt, your podcast has helped me on a bigger level than I could’ve imagined. I’ve struggled with Scrupulosity and OCD for years. I’ve struggled(and am still wrestling) with looking to my actions to prove who I am in Christ. But you have shown me real grace! The real truth about Jesus and the grace God has offered to me. Thank you for helping me. I feel as if I still have a long way to go, but I’m on the way. Thank you for speaking about freedom and the true identity of a Christian to me and all of the other listeners. Thank you

I am so grateful to have stumbled upon Matt’s walk talks. I never really knew the true message of grace. I mean, I believed Jesus died for my sins, but I thought that was only so that I can have an opportunity to get in to heaven, but watch out because I can lose that opportunity with my sins. That theology kept me completely insecure with my salvation and righteousness and feeling like a failure Christian. Thank God for his truth and for those who spread it. It has changed my life and I’m forever grateful & secure in Christ. Thank you.

Matt has the most informative way of teaching the new covenant, which is not a new concept and it’s actually the CORRECT gospel of Jesus, but churches have taught a mixture of law and grace and Matt teaches you how to correctly divide the scripture so you’re not living a mixture life. In other words, he teaches THE gospel. He gives plenty of examples of how the church has erroneously taught things that keep a Christian in bondage but through his right teachings, helps set you free in your walk with Jesus!!
