Interesting podcast

I often don’t exactly agree with these guys and sometimes my personal lack of a quality traditional education means that I once in a while I don’t understand them, but I do like this podcast. It absolutely pulls me way out of the echo chambers of what normally surrounds me. I enjoy listening to these guys. Side note, one of them uses the word “yo” in an interesting way. After a while it actually becomes comforting hearing yo somehow. I’ve not been listening for too long, but so far it’s a really good podcast.
Hard to listen to
10 févr.
They seem to be aiming for an AM morning radio chat show vibe, hard to follow any actual analytical conversation through the incessant cackling and vacuous, irrelevant commentary.
Terrific podcast

Very engaging even if you have not read the books being talked about. Even if you only have some sympathy with the left, cut by a lot of skepticism.
Adore high brow raised Adorno

I love Adorno’s hate and really respect. I’ve not heard a single academic my age or younger who aren’t annoyed by this high minded curmudgeon because they know he’d look askance at anything we do, but it’s just this judgmentalism I love. I don’t agree always with his assessments but it’s for that very reason we especially, in our era, need JUST this kind of naysaying.
