107. HALT. One Powerful Tip From Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) To Help You Manage Your Emotions When You Feel Like You’re Overreacting At Times

A HOLY MESS - CHRISTIAN, ANXIOUS, REGRET, SHAME, GRIEF, AA

Hi friend!

The program of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is full of simple tools that can make a HUGE difference in our lives!

I don't know where this acronym originated, but AA is where I first heard it, and they're famous for one-line helpful phrases.

And whether you struggle with addiction or not, trust me, this can help. :)

If you've ever overreacted (umm, and who hasn't?) and wondered why things are affecting you so deeply- this acronym can help!

"HALT"-Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Or Tired. If we are one or more of these things, it's sometimes difficult not to overreact.

I hope you're having a great week. If you need prayer, please email me at hello@danisumner.com
