#11. What is "Awakening"?

"Awakening" is a term loaded with stigma. Maybe you hear it and think of "the great awakening", and the advent of great religious vigor. Or perhaps you've heard it used by ambiguous new age types in ways that seem to not mean much at all. Regardless, the concept of awakening means coming out of a state of unconsciousness and entering reality. The metaphors abound.
