First up on this episode with Coach Jame Young, the Tip-Topics are jam-packed as Paolo Banchero will make his return to the Magic this week, the Bucks benched Khris Middleton, Tennessee men’s basketball got heavily blown out by Florida, and much more. In addition, we explored through the updated win totals for the Knicks, Nets, and Magic. Coach provides you a best bet for all of them. Lastly, we look ahead to some upcoming notable matchups for both the NBA and men’s college basketball for the rest of the week.     1/7: Jimmy Butler Suspended + NBA & MBB Previews & More

    There has been a lot of breaking news and updates brewing around the basketball world. Coach gives all he’s insights, takes, and best bets on this episode. Some of the Tip-Off Topics include the Miami Heat suspending Jimmy Butler for a few games due to his inappropriate disciplinary actions as of late because he wants to get traded. In addition, Kyrie Irving gets injured and will be sidelined for a week or two. The futures of Miami and Dallas hang in the balance for their own respective reasons. There are topics to be discussed as well so keep your ears open. Next, Coach gives you his best bets for some of the notable NBA games tipping off on Tuesday and Wednesday. It’s going to be a very interesting couple of weeks as the trade deadline gets closer as well. Lastly, Coach relays his best bets again but this time for four major conference-play matchups in men’s college basketball. Are the Auburn Tigers still the best team in the country? Can Tennessee keep their undefeated season alive against a tough Florida Gators team that has been dominate so far this season? Only time will tell.

First up, some of the Tip-off Topics include LeBron James celebrating 40 years old and still thriving on the court, injury updates for Ja Morant and Jaden Ivey, Anthony Edwards calling Shai Gilgeous-Alexander “MVP”, Pelicans trying to trade Brandon Ingram, and Bryce James committing to Arizona. Coach gives his opinion and takes on each topic. Moving on to the Award Tour. Coach relays his best bets for the futures market in terms of the playoffs. Will the Warriors missed the playoffs? Do the Suns have a chance to make the playoffs? In addition, will the Indiana Hoosiers have a fighting chance to make the NCAA Tournament? Lastly, on Coach’s scouting report, we go through three notable games on Friday (01/03/25) in the NBA and Coach gives you a best bet for each matchup. First up on our Tip-Off Topics, the Lakers traded D’Angelo Russell and some picks to the Nets for Dorian Finney-Smith and Shake Milton. Coach wonders how the trade either helps or hinders both teams. Next, Coach is frustrated and doesn’t understand why the Kings decided the fired head coach Mike Brown. You don’t want to miss his take on this. Some unfortunate news in the sports broadcast world as Greg Gumbel passed away at the age of 78. Coach shares how he made an impact when came to the coverage of men’s college basketball, especially during March Madness. Speaking of, conference play kicks off the week/weekend for men’s college basketball and Coach is very excited to see these matchups when time comes around. Next, Coach continues is ranting about head coach Mike Brown getting fired because he believes that this had nothing to do with Mike Brown; more related to the organization itself.
