122 The "Much More" Love of God

Kitchen Table Theology

Do you believe God loves you? In today’s episode, Jen Denton and Pastor Jeff Cranston explore the idea that there is a difference between knowing that God loves someone and feeling God's love. It is through experiencing God's love that we become truly aware of how much he loves us. They also discuss how God loves those who are saved more than those who are not. Once a person is in Christ, they taste the love of God in a way they have never before experienced. Furthermore, once a person is saved, they are objects of God's grace, power, faithfulness, and peace. There is a progressive aspect to God's love for those who are saved because it continues to grow as we walk in his faithfulness.

“Do you believe God loves you? And I trust you can answer with a convincing and unqualified yes, because we have been recipients of the much more love of God.” - Jeff Cranston

“When we think about love in our humanness, we think about worldly love. God is not as the world gives because He is not of this world.” - Jen Denton
