Raising Fatherless Kids

Lori is an exceptional example. A beacon in the night. Her ministry is helping so many of us walking paths of grief and loss as moms of fatherless children. She is an answer to prayer. It is clear this is her calling. Through podcasts she has also brought on board others to speak into our lives and circumstances. It has helped me immensely as I navigate this journey of widowhood with 2 sons. Forever grateful. Praise God for her example and steadfast willingness to be used of God.

Lori’s walk with the Lord through the death of her husband with eight young children to raise until today has been faithful, consistent, encouraging, Biblically based, and filled with trust in her heavenly father’s care. She shares her godly perspective from the natural to the supernatural one of acknowledging God as husband and father. This is by far the most helpful resource I have come across since being widowed with two sons. There is a wealth of Biblical, practical advice from Lori and others who have walked this road before, not just for moms, but for our children, too. I used to feel completely hopeless in my situation of raising two boys without a dad, but Lori has given me hope through God’s word and others’ journeys. I am so so thankful for her dedication to helping other widows and single moms. There is hope.
