So I'm currently reading this book called The One Thing by Gary Keller with Jay Papasan, and so far it's been life-changing. I'm learning how to better focus and limit distractions. I'm learning that multitasking is actually not a good thing when you're trying to accomplish something because it distracts you from that one thing you're trying to do.
What is your ONE Thing? Are you constantly being distracted from that ONE Thing? If you are, I highly recommend reading this book because we all know what we have to do to get good at our jobs and our businesses but somehow we're not doing it. I believe there are things in a day that keep us "busy" like emails and slack messages but it's not really helping us reach meaningful goals.
Can you imagine how much you can accomplish in a day if you didn't have all these distractions? Imagine if you actually stayed focused for most of your day, what would you get done?
