13. Typhoon Freda, the Columbus Day Storm of 1962

Typhoons are a RARE occurrence in the Pacific Northwest, but never say never. This tropical storm ran its course along the west coast, destroying buildings, homes, electricity, and forests in its wake.It should be noted that this episode was recorded just before Christmas, so there may be some references to the winter season. Nullity

Tried to listen to this, but before I got even two minutes in there was too much giggling, too much unnecessary. Cursing, the audio sucked, and one of the hosts didn’t even know where Milwaukee was. I just can’t.
