Our guest on the podcast today is new Catholic author and special needs mother Christy Wilkens. Her new book with Ave Maria Press, “Awakening at Lourdes: How an Unanswered Prayer Healed Our Family and Restored Our Faith” will be released this fall. It's the story of her family's pilgrimage to Lourdes with the their child Oscar, the miracles they received and the ones they didn't, and why the wide gulf between those two things is awash in grace upon grace. On this episode Christy speaks candidly about doubting God and losing hope all together.
