In this episode Daniel and Mason chat with decorated historian Dr. Shadi Bartsch about Ridley Scott's latest offering, Gladiator II. A professor of Classics at the University of Chicago, Dr. Bartsch deconstructs the movie and its many historical claims, as well as talking about if Gladiator II stays true to the spirit of history. She also addresses if it was "total Hollywood bullshit" or if the trailer might have given us the wrong impression.
