16. Sexuality Erasure with Joey Brite and MrMenno

In this episode Joey Brite and MrMenno take us down the wacky world of sexuality and same-sex attraction in a world gone trans. The distinction of what we are and who we are is central to our discussion. We examine topics like the gender-bending of drag, the undermining of women’s rights, and the shame we carry in our bodies. Glorifying the denial of sex as 'authenticity' has detrimental impacts on all sexual orientations and begs the question of the role of the body in being human.   

Joey Brite is a feminist, lesbian and lifelong gender outlaw. She is the creator of Can I Get a Witness, an educational platform designed to give a voice to those who are shaking up the status quo.
