Kalki Subramaniam is a transgender rights activist, artist, actress, writer, poet and entrepreneur from Tamil Nadu, India. Her foundation, the Sahodari Foundation, main objective is to promote social, political, and economic equity and campaign for civil and legal rights of transgender people. The foundation provides support t transgender people in India by cultivating their lives with art, theater, writing, and Kalki educates people around the world about transgender sensitivity and inclusivity.
