#2 A supportive environment, integrating the old & new and attachment parenting with Amanda Vanya
In this interview I talk to Amanda Vanya. Amanda has been a creative visionary since birth. She began her creative expression with classical ballet at the age of 3 years old and continued on this path for over 20 years. Spending the later years in contemporary dance. With movement as her medicine, diving into the world of yoga felt like a natural flow. It was through yoga that her body, mind and heart stepped onto the path of remembrance and her consciousness began to expand. Over her life Amanda has explored her many gifts, in the most recent years she has shared her deep connection with plants through her work in herbalism and aromatherapy. She currently works for a botanical self care company that gives her the opportunity to work outdoors on an organic farm as well as in a laboratory transforming plants and creating self care products. In 2018 Amanda and her husband opened up their journey of conscious creation and in 2019 their daughter Haseya Sundari was born. Coming from a family with strong connection to attachment and consciousness parenting, Amanda has found a deep passion in her role as an embodied, conscious Mother. She has a soul calling to be an active leader in the creation of New Earth and the Golden Age and believes this will be guided by our children. Amanda is fully immersed in her spiritual growth. Some of her studies include the Goddess Arts, conscious business, shadow work as well as walking the path of sacred plant medicine. She is a devoted student of Sofiah Thom of Temple Body Arts School and is currently in her second year of Sofiah's Global Mentorship for Embodied Feminine Leaders. Becoming a Mother has awakened her to her mission of creating a sacred container for women to live the maiden to mother transformation and integration. Her message of how we can, as women, fully rise into our graceful power through our postpartum time is growing stronger each day. She has recently started an intimate sharing of her journey through her various platforms and is stepping into her leadership to be a guide for women during this powerful time of transformation. Amanda currently lives in a small village in Quebec right on the border of Vermont with her husband and daughter.
