When Ben spoke about spectators crossing the streams of memories from a performance it really resonated with me because I’ve experienced this numerous times while performing and I remember Wayne Houchin speaking on this idea years ago in a small interview. Wayne was speaking of an experience when he was performing Thread and later in the act performed his needle swallowing act - later a spectator approached him asking if it hurt when the needles came out of his eye. Again, the spectator crossed the streams of their memory and it just made their experience of that act that much more incredible.
