Have you ever dreamt of working on your own Open Source projects full-time? We show ways to fund your work.
Funding is a big topic for many Open Source projects. People spend many hours per week on their passion project without getting paid. To support their project long-term, many projects will have to find ways to fund that work.
We talk about different Open Source funds like Prototype, Mozilla Ventures, or Media Tech Lab which help OSS projects become sustainable. We’ll also talk about the tradeoffs of each program, the amount of funding you can expect, and how you can apply.
