    204. Behind Every Success Story Are Real Life Challenges with Kris Jones

Have you ever felt like you’re the only one facing challenges while everyone else has it all together? Maybe you’ve also experienced the opposite–people overlook your struggles due to your success. Here’s the reality: everyone struggles–even the most capable, successful people. When we’re in the thick of it, it’s easy to feel isolated, judged, and wonder if we’re the only one who has to overcome challenges. This podcast is about understanding what it really means to master life–it's not about checking boxes, but learning to lean into self-connection as we face the challenges of life that come our way. In this episode, I talk about this topic with one of my good friends and colleagues, Kris Jones. You've probably heard Kris on the podcast before–she is a copywriter who specializes in story brand copy, and she is a brilliant businesswoman. Alongside that success, just like all of us, there have been some significant challenges in Kris’s life. Today, Kris Jones shares her story of navigating challenges with her son, handling judgment from others, balancing her thriving business with her personal life, and ultimately finding strength and joy in the midst of it all. We often compare our internal experiences–the emotions, the struggles, the despair–with what we see on the exterior of someone else’s life. But comparison never gives the full story. We all face challenges that others may not see, just as we’re often blind to the hardships among others' achievements. No one is exempt from having to overcome challenges—you are not alone. Let’s dive into learning how to face life challenges with honesty, resilience, and connection to ourselves. What you’ll learn: The importance of self-connection and working with your own nervous system when facing life challengesWhy it's human to feel sadness and grief when facing judgment from othersHow to navigate business success and personal challenges without burning outWhy you don’t need to feel guilty about finding a creative escape during difficult timesThe key to staying the course and not giving up when you face challenges in life You can read the full show notes here. About Kris Jones: Most coaches don’t have a marketing problem—they have a messaging problem. Your dream clients are likely visiting your website and quietly clicking away, not because your offer isn’t valuable, but because your story isn’t clear. After 23 years crafting stories for brands like Nike and Adidas, Kris Jones discovered a game-changing truth: a single, well-told story can replace all your marketing and double your revenue. As a hand-selected mentee of StoryBrand’s Donald Miller and founder of Red Door Stories, she’s helped hundreds of coaches transform their websites into 24/7 client-attracting machines. Marketing overwhelm ends when you tell the right story. Let Kris show you how. 203. Redefining Productivity for Entrepreneurs with Neill Williams

When we think about better time management and how to increase productivity, it’s tempting to believe that if we could perfectly color-code our calendars or find the best scheduling hack, all the overwhelm and stress would disappear. Those of us who have tried those methods time and again, yet still feel overworked and frustrated, know they’re not the quick fix we want them to be. Here’s the good news: increasing productivity gets easier when you embrace holistic time management and accept yourself right where you are. In this episode, I'm thrilled to bring you an incredible interview with productivity coach Neill Williams. Neill is a Master Coach who specializes in helping female entrepreneurs improve productivity, efficiency, and performance, and she hosts the podcast, Success Genius. She is an advocate for taking care of yourself and building a business that truly supports you. You’ll love her insights on how to increase productivity in a way that aligns with the life you want to create. One of the things I admire most about Neill’s approach to productivity is how she focuses on its connection to science and physiology. Productivity isn’t just about the clock—your mind, body, and emotions play a huge role in your time management. When we force ourselves to stick to a calendar or use external tools to fit the mold of productivity, we reinforce patterns of overworking and stress. Neill invites you to accept the unique state of your body, mind, and emotions to unlock a new kind of productivity–one that actually works for you. The most important factor in increasing productivity is taking into account what's happening inside of you–embracing it as part of your efficiency power, rather than something that’s wrong with you. I’m so glad you’re here with me to discover a new way forward. Let’s do it! What you’ll learn: The powerful impact of the nervous system on productivity and performanceWhat to do when your physiology doesn’t match the plan you made on your calendarHow your “body budget” impacts focus and efficiencyExamples of tools to use to calm your nervous system and increase focusWhy slowing down can actually increase productivity You can read the full show notes here. About Neill Williams  Neill Williams is a Master Certified Life Coach, productivity expert, and host of the "Success Genius" podcast. After burning out as a corporate actuary working 60-80 hour weeks, Neill discovered how to leverage neuroscience and circadian rhythms to build successful coaching practice working just 10 hours per week. Diagnosed with multiple autoimmune diseases, Neill dove deep into the intersection of biology and productivity, creating the revolutionary 10-Hour Week Method that helps entrepreneurs get 40 hours of results in just 10 hours. As a mom, wife, and entrepreneur managing health challenges, Neill understands the reality of wearing multiple hats. Her evidence-based approach combines cutting-edge research with practical tools, helping ambitious women integrate work and well-being to achieve more while sacrificing less. 202. The Secret Doorway to Achieving Your Potential

It’s so natural for us to invest our time and energy into giving back to others–we’ve been taught that it’s more noble to prioritize other people over ourselves. But what are the benefits of investing in yourself? When you prioritize personal transformation, you open the door to better serving others as well. In this episode, we explore how being an achiever, a do-gooder, and someone who truly wants to help and serve can create a beautiful hidden path to what you’re craving. Your desire to help others can be the very gateway to your own personal growth, development, and fulfillment of purpose. We often feel guilty focusing on ourselves when we could be helping someone else. But your personal transformation has a direct impact on everyone around you. When you work on achieving your potential, you’re better able to show up for others in every area of your life. Today, I’ll share questions you can use to help you understand the benefits of investing in yourself, along with examples of the beautiful returns that happen for both you and the people around you when you take the leap to focus on your growth. The fact of the matter is: When you take the reins and create the life you want–when you harness the power of your own growth and development, and allow your gifts to be big, bright, and bold–you can't help but impact other people. That's why one of my favorite parts of Master Coach training is watching my clients change their lives – whether it's through a formal coaching business, a leadership position, or within their own relationships. The ripple effect of personal transformation is truly powerful. As you listen, I want you to think about the power you have to give to others so generously with your light and energy when you, yourself, are fulfilled. What you’ll learnWhy achieving your potential better equips you to serve othersHow to notice–without judgement–if you struggle to justify investing in yourselfQuestions to help you understand how leading others enriches your own lifeExamples of powerful personal transformation I see with people who want to help othersHow personal investment builds resilience when navigating life's challenges You can read the full show notes here. 201. Achievement Without Burnout: Creating Safety Beyond Success

When you hear the word "achievement," what comes up for you? Do you feel energized and inspired? Or do you instantly feel the pressure to “do more” or “be better”?  In this episode, we’re diving into the complex relationship many of us have with achievement. We’ll explore the ways achievement can be expansive and lead you toward creating the life you want, and the ways overachieving can trap you in a cycle of overworking that doesn't serve you.  I share my own journey from earning money as a child to building a business, and how praise for being “capable” and “responsible” wired me to equate achievement with safety for a long time. Once our nervous systems learn that achievement=safety, breaking that pattern can feel uncomfortable, even dangerous. However, when we release the unhelpful patterns we have regarding achievement, we can leverage the concept of achievement in a way that serves us. Changing your relationship to achievement is possible, and it may be the key to transforming your life.  Here’s the truth: if we pursue our goals while reinforcing internal patterns of spreading ourselves thin and running on a ramped-up nervous system, we may achieve them, but often at the cost of the very things we desired in the first place. The solution is staying grounded within your true goals and creating safety outside of achievement. Today, I’ll offer you practical ways to do both. The desire to achieve is a powerful force within us, but I have seen and experienced firsthand what it is like when achievement becomes the primary focus, and the reason why gets lost along the way. I'm so glad you're here to change this pattern with me. Let’s get started! What you’ll learn: Why praise for being reliable and driven can contribute to an unhealthy relationship with achievementHow my early experiences shaped my relationship with overachievingHow to evaluate your goals and determine when a focus on where you are heading is causing you to miss out on enjoying where you areThe steps to changing your relationship with overachieving–starting with awarenessAn exercise to help you slow down and create a new pattern with how you achieve You can read the full show notes here. 200. Welcome to Life, Mastered: What Life Mastery Really Means

Welcome to the very first episode of Life, Mastered with Molly Claire! This shift in the podcast reflects my values and the deeper, more expansive work I feel called to share. It’s been a long time coming, and I’m thrilled to finally bring it to you. In this episode, you’ll hear about what you can expect from the new direction of this podcast and why, first and foremost, it really is for you. If you're someone who knows you're meant for more, who wants to grow and live the best possible life, and you’re not willing to let anything get in your way, then you’re the reason for this evolution. Whether you’re a coach, a leader, or simply someone committed to positive and healthy growth, I want this podcast to provide you with the tools to achieve the life mastery you seek and create real, lasting change in your life. Here’s what I want you to know first: Life mastery does not mean having a “perfect” life. It doesn't mean checking all the boxes and having everything figured out–that impossible standard only leads to burnout and disappointment. True life mastery comes from a willingness to be with ourselves. It's about the authenticity that so many of us want, yet struggle to actually embody–which we can achieve when we cultivate a relationship with self rooted in honesty and compassion. My four fundamentals of lasting change will be at the heart of this podcast moving forward. These fundamentals–mind mastery, emotional resilience, the nervous system, and action strategies–are the focus of my Master Coach Training program, but I believe understanding them is essential for everyone. They offer a holistic approach to finding the entry point to this work that will be most effective for you. In addition to revisiting the four fundamentals of lasting change, today we dive into the first of many powerful concepts I’ll be discussing in this new era of the podcast: relationship with self. Life mastery doesn't happen at the surface level. It requires you to turn toward yourself and go deep into your thoughts and experiences as they arise. The more we can look within ourselves without judgment, the more capacity we have to grow, heal, and find peace. This podcast is for the ambitious soul, the truth seeker, and those of you who are just ready to feel confident in your own ability to create the life you want. I’m so excited that you’re here. Let’s do it! What you’ll learn:Why your relationship with self is the foundation for life mastery and lasting changeA quote from Leland Val Van De Wall that reframes how we understand our relationship with selfHow to approach your relationship with self with compassionate curiosityA story that showcases the authenticity I want to bring to this podcast going forwardWhy you can choose to become your own greatest ally and believe in yourself unconditionally You can read the full show notes here. 198. A Conversation on Collective Grief and Grief Support with Margo Fordonski

For something that touches every one of us, many people still feel grief-illiterate. Whether it's impacting someone close to you or your entire community, it can be difficult to figure out what to say or how to offer support. In light of the recent flooding in Texas, I wanted to have a heartfelt conversation about collective grief, the grieving process, and what it truly means to show up for others in both the short and long term. I’m honored to have my client and Master Coach, Margo Fordonski, join me to offer her wisdom surrounding the grieving process. Margo is a trained grief educator who brings her professional insight and her personal experience with grief to this topic. We discuss how grief affects us individually and collectively, and how we can support one another when the unexpected happens. In this episode, you’ll hear about specific ways to support someone who is grieving, how to offer help in the midst of collective grief, and why it’s never too late to reach out—whether the loss happened recently or many years ago. Grief is hard, and many of us are afraid to say or do the wrong thing. Because of this, we often end up doing nothing at all. However, the more we normalize this universal, human experience, the more we can understand how to navigate grief and to support others.  What you’ll learn: The ripple effects of community tragedy and collective griefWhy every grief experience looks different–and grieving never has a deadlineThree specific tips for how to support someone who is grieving in the early stagesHow to be a steady presence for someone after a loss in the long-termWhy small actions—a text, sharing a photo, using their loved one’s name—can help support someone who is grieving You can read the full show notes here. About Margo Fordonski Margo Fordonski is a Master Certified Life Coach, Certified Grief Educator, and a twice-bereaved parent. After losing both of her children—most recently her son Andrew, who lived with brain cancer for 24 years—Margo has walked the long, complex path of grief firsthand. Her personal journey led her to a powerful calling: to support other mothers navigating life after the unthinkable. Margo helps grieving moms find peace, resilience, and renewed hope—not by “moving on,” but by learning how to carry their grief with love. Her 1:1 coaching approach is deeply personalized, meeting each mother where she is with compassionate guidance and tools that support nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and holistic healing. She guides her clients in healing at their own pace, rediscovering who they are now, and gently rebuilding a life that honors both their child and their continued growth. Her work is trauma-informed, heart-led, and rooted in the belief that grief is not something to fix—it’s something to tend to with care, courage, and support. Through her coaching, writing, and lived witness, Margo offers a safe and understanding space for grieving moms to feel less overwhelmed, more connected to themselves, and begin to rebuild a life that holds both sorrow and joy.
