    Fresh from EuroBeachVolley, Lewie talks through his Viennese experience with Ci and Matt, looking at the incredible achievement of the Beach Volley Vikings Anders Mol and Christian Sørum who followed their Olympic Gold in Tokyo with a fourth straight European crown – a new record for consecutive titles.  The team also make their predictions for who Lewie will be commentating on at the EuroVolley women’s semi-finals, as well as their picks for who will top the men’s podium. Dave also has a call with Estonian Outside Hitter Robert Taht, who was selected as one of the EuroVolley Ambassadors with his country hosting Pool D.  Don’t worry Estonian fans, this was recorded a while back so any references to recovering from surgery are long out of date.  They talk through the excitement of EuroVolley coming to town, why he wants to do his talking on the court and Dave has a go at some of the local lingo.     Beach Volleyball is again on the Tokyo 2020ne Olympic Games schedule and looking to top their Bronze from Rio are the Dutch World Champions of 2013 Alexander Brouwer & Robert Meeuwsen. They join Lewie and Ci to discuss their memories of the 2016 Games, how it felt to qualify early for Tokyo 2020 and their expectations for a Games which is inevitably going to be different.  As always Ci Digs in, while we also challenge the guys so some player vs player questions and get to know them far beyond their on-court performances.  In terms of Volleyball chat, the guys talk about their journey so far, recent results, as well as the influence of their staff and support network.     It was a big week for European Volleyball with 197 teams being confirmed in the six European Cup competitions for 2022 and all except the 4th Round of the Champions League onwards being drawn in one day at the Broadcast centre in Luxembourg.  Dan joins Dave and Ci to review the draw and look at some of the exciting match-ups that were confirmed - especially in the CEV Cup Men which looks like being a mini Champions League next season. Dave also talks to one of the real gentlemen of Volleyball, Middle Blocker Dragan Stanković, about his career to date, being spotted by Lube, the EuroVolley podiums achieved with Serbia and what he is up to now that he has retired from the national team.
