In the Lakota language “Makoce” means Homelands. Makoce Agriculture Development, Inc is a grass-roots, community-led 501c3 non-profit working to develop a local, regenerative food system on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. The Mission of Makoce Ag is to "Develop Indigenous Agriculture & Food Systems designed to regenerate equitable healthy communities, economies and our environment”. Enjoy the talk of the Homelands.
