Prem is a direct and long-term disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda, the disciple of Swami Sivananda. He served as a sannyasi for over 24 years in the Sivananda Organization and was the Director of the Sivananda Centers in New York City and London. Prem is a scholar of Vedantic Philosophy, Hindu Scripture, and Sanskrit and holds an MA in Sanskrit.
He is a trained musician holding uplifting satsangs and kirtans. He has taught hundreds of yoga teacher training courses through the Sivananda organization and continues to share his wealth of knowledge through his many courses on the yoga scriptures - Bhagavad Gita and Yoga Sutras, meditation, positive thinking, anger management, and relationships. He is the author of Empower Your Life and Open Your Heart to Love. He is based in New York City.
