    Let's talk about the importance of taking sides. Elie Wiesel was a Holocaust survivor, author, and generally brilliant guy who famously spoke to the world about "taking sides" on important global issues. A quote from Elie Wiesel impacted me greatly, early in my life. He said, "We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Sometimes, we must interfere. When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy, national borders and sensitivities become irrelevant. Wherever men and women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must become the center of the universe."   Fear often keeps people locked up in a place of indecision and inaction.     Fear and God (Pt 2) - How I Left the Church, but Found the Kingdom

    Welcome to Part 2 of Sandy's Fear and God series. In Part 1, we waded into the topic of fear associated with the subject of religion and we talked about some of the most important questions asked by human beings such as: Am I loved? Am I acceptable? Am I saved?  Here in Part 2, Sandy shares about her decision to leave church for the first time in her entire life. During this time, she spent years extricating herself from the bondage of religion and learning to walk fearlessly in the freedom of her faith. Then, in March of 2019 Sandy had a radical spiritual experience that led her to connect with a group of people who were actively seeking the Kingdom of God.
