218 - John MacArthur, Beth Moore, and How We See Women

Voxology

It's all over the internet: the time where John Macarthur told Beth Moore to go home and that there was no place for women to preach. WE HAVE SOME THOUGHTS. Let us say from the outset: You can leave. If you are treated in a way that slanders you, places you on the margins and treats you as less than, you can leave. There are places for you in which you will be loved, cherished, accepted and even given a voice. I know, women that it doesn't always feel like that, but Im here on the other side of the storm to tell you that it's possible. And men: your voice here matters more than you think. Your apologies matter. Your reversal of this toxic chain of events that happens when people in platforms treat women like this is what will turn this thing around. Women, in Jesus, in Church, in the Kingdom....at the pulpit: You are already home.
