Life in the mob was hell for Freddie Cobo. By 1978 he'd crossed lines he thought he'd never cross — including committing multiple murders. But getting out of "the life" was easier said than done, especially when your boss is the most vicious and feared mobster in the city.

Can Freddie get out of "the life" alive? Can he give his son, Little Freddie, one last innocent trick-or-treating memory for Halloween? Or will death snatch him up first?
