24. Conflict With Family During The Christmas Season? 7 Tips to Help You Manage Family Conflict

Hey Mama!

Are you worried about that "cousin Eddie" you have over every year during Christmas? Or is it a little more serious than a "cousin Eddie" situation? Maybe it’s a family member that you have had a falling out with or just can’t seem to see eye to eye and it’s fighting and arguing all the time.

Your jaw is clenched tight in dread, all your muscles are tensed and tightened. Your mind is racing with thoughts of all the things that could go wrong and all the fights that may happen. Then when you see them your defenses instantly go up. Does this sound like you with those certain family members? 

These seven tips will help you to be able to enjoy time with your family and manage that conflict with a little more grace and Christ-like attitude. We have no control over anyone else, just ourselves. By standing in prayer and in faith that God can do anything, even transforming the other person’s heart and mind, changes can come!
