Great EV info!
Love his quick and to the point, daily EV information and updates from around the world!!!
It’s an ad network
A once great show that has been plagued with issues lately. The worst are the ads. On a consistent basis, shows are more than 50% ads (by runtime). The show will start with ad after ad, often repeated ads, often offensive ads. I have heard racist ads, misinformation ads from the gas & oil industry, and other objectionable religious and political content. He will often have ad breaks that interrupt mid-sentence. Then the show finishes with 2-3 minutes of more ads. But they have no consistency so you can’t set your podcatcher to skip them. I listen to about 200+ episodes of podcasts a week, and this is the only one that has these issues. Why is everyone else able to figure this out but him? I listen to a fair amount of podcasts from the UK, so that isn’t an excuse.
Another issue is he often disappears for long stretches, he’s comes back and says things like, “sorry I was away, but I was spending lots of time ending another podcast”. Why would you spend excessive time on something that’s ending at the expense of your main show?
This show used to be one of my faves, but I’m about to unsubscribe. I really hope he gets sorted. He seems like a great bloke who has a good heart, but struggles to manage his priorities.
Holier than thou
This guys is a hack and a shill for EV world. I own and love EVs but understand the realities and this guy just pushes non EV owners away.
