In this episode, Corey and Sharma speak with entrepreneur Jody Yearwood. Jody is the wife to her 6th grade classmate, mother of two sons, caregiver to her elderly father, ADHD/Autism advocate, creative entrepreneur, and a Business Execution Consultant in Commercial Banking. She is the Founder of J.Yearwood Marketing, LLC and ‘the melanADHD woman,’ where she shares her personal journey living as a Black woman with ADHD through notecards and affirmations. During this conversation, Jody shares how she went from an entrepreneur who was hiding to putting herself out there, as well as finding the courage to ask for what she needs in corporate America as someone who is neurodiverse.
