#277 - Oscar Winners and Excel Texts: When Movie Magic Goes Rogue

In this week's edition of "Sorry You're in My Seat," Aaron and James reunite for a rollicking ride through the wilds of cinema. Buckle up as they tackle some of the industry's toughest questions, starting with the infamous Oscar winner curse. From the highs of Hollywood's biggest night to the lows of post-award struggles, they leave no statuette unturned. But that's just the warm-up act! Next, our dynamic duo turns their attention to film characters who should've called it quits long before the final fade-out. From action heroes who overstayed their welcome to rom-com leads who just couldn't find their happily ever after, Aaron and James serve up some hilarious insights and maybe a few hot takes. And let's not forget about those film franchises that just couldn't resist the urge to keep churning out sequels. With a mix of nostalgia and skepticism, Aaron and James debate which franchises should've bowed out gracefully and left fans wanting more. But wait, there's more! Get ready to have your movie magic bubble burst as they shine a light on the most cringe-worthy moments in film. From laughably fake phone conversations to the absurdity of Excel-based texting (we're looking at you, Kelly Rowland!), they'll have you questioning everything you thought you knew about movie realism. So grab your popcorn and settle in for a lively discussion that's equal parts laughter, nostalgia, and maybe a touch of existential crisis. With Aaron and James at the helm, there's never a dull moment in the world of "Sorry You're in My Seat"! 🍿🎬
