Truly one of the best podcasts in existence and honestly extremely helpful for people like me who need to have an honest understanding of what’s happening in our world. This podcast came to me in a time of altering faith. Shawn and his band of brothers/friends/guests impacted my life in such a way it changed it forever. I am a Marine Corps vet of four years active service, deployed on a MEU, never saw combat or anything drastic, actually most would comparably say my service was too easy. To which after hearing these living testimonies, I myself would agree. However, I felt a cloud of confusion, anger, anxiety, and fear that followed me around post EAS. My life felt purposeless after the Marines. Floating around searching for the next task to conquer and continue about my business to the next project. Nothing was fulfilling, I was at a wall. Back to the world with what felt like no one cheering me on besides my own demons telling me to jump. To take the leap and hush all the thoughts I had all at once. Then, a glimmer of hope. A sliver of faith peered through all those dark and cloudy thoughts. A peek into God the Almighty, I opened my eyes and had realized that His signs had been all around me all along… That I was denying my heart and soul His acceptance. He’s always been there, forgiving, loving, caring, guiding. He’s everything. The words of these warriors, the lovers, the fighters, the speakers, and onward this podcast has brought before me has solely inspired me to find my faith in God, and turn my life to Him, as I always should have. Shawn, I’m not sure if you’ll ever see this or if your guests will, but you all have altered my life to have purpose once again. Found in the soul of God Almighty, the Father of the Son, Jesus Christ. I’ve felt the Holy Spirit enter me and here I remain as one single vessel. Thank you. You’ve saved me.
