S5 E8: She displays Godly characteristics (and her friends do, too)
Welcome back to Confidently She! Do you ever wonder if you're growing spiritually? Yes, maybe you're consistent with spiritual disciplines, but how do you tell if there's real growth in your heart? Proverbs says out of the heart the mouth speaks. Your actions will give you direct indications of your spiritual growth. I put together a list of 11 ways I noticed my behavior, mindset, and speech change once I truly started walking with the Lord. You can use these as indicators of your own growth - plus, look out for these characteristics when you're choosing friendships. The character of your friends quickly becomes the character of your own. Remember you can join the discussion on Substack https://open.substack.com/pub/rebekahbuege

S5 E7: She prioritizes kingdom unity over political uniformity
Welcome back! Sometimes Christians forget that America is not a Christian nation. It's a nation of religious freedom, which means freedom from religion as well as the right to practice individual religions. This means, as Christians, we should never be shocked or offended when political agendas don't align with our values. It's a presidential election year in the United States, which means the republican party will attempt to harness the religious voting block regardless of their candidate's personal beliefs and values. This episode serves as a reminder, a warning, and an encouragement to prioritize unity over uniformity. Our ultimate aim is not to influence American politics, it's to live in holiness as salt + light to the world, visible through our love. Listen for an honest reality check for what is most important in the midst of an election year.

S5 E6: She lives quietly, but impacts greatly
Welcome back to Confidently She! This episode is a response to 1 Thessalonians where Christians are called to live a quiet life. It feels like this goes directly against much of the themes I see at Christian conferences in America. What does it really look like to live quietly? How are we supposed to impact people when we live quietly in a world that's getting louder and louder each year? I have some thoughts and I hope it helps encourage you. S5 E5: She enjoys gifts from God
Welcome back to season five of Confidently She. In this episode, I'm walking you through the mindset of enjoyment and why it's important in my walk with God. The gifts God gives are meant to be enjoyed to the fullest. God is not stingy with his gifts. He is not withholding, even though it feels that way to us sometimes. Remember that God is a father and there's nothing parents enjoy more than seeing their child enjoy the gifts they give them. So I'm sharing the 3 necessary shifts I made to fully enjoy gifts from God. I hope you enjoy!

S5 E4: She stopped seeking approval from others
Everyone needs approval. Call it validation, permission, praise, etc. we all crave it. It's just part of the human condition. But why do some people desperately seek the approval of their parents, friends, or strangers on the internet? What is it about that kind of approval we crave? Find out why you seek approval from people in this episode of Confidently She. Don't forget about the Substack, join here: https://open.substack.com/pub/rebekahbuege

S5 E3: She loves who God made her to be
You hear a lot about self-love in recent years, but it's easy for this topic to start sounding a lot like self indulgence or vanity. However, don't think that it's not part of holy living in God's kingdom. In this episode, I'm sharing thoughts and examples of how God wants for his children to love who they are and grow into more of who he designed them to be. Don't forget to listen on Substack where you can comment and discuss directly with me and other listeners! https://rebekahbuege.substack.com/p/god-wants-you-to-love-yourself

The one!
I’ve only been listening to this podcast for less than a week and I have gleaned so many nuggets of information and actionable steps to improve my body image, but what really got me…”couldn’t care less”…right then I knew I was in the right place! Thank you, Rebekah!! Seriously though, Rebekah provides great content related to body image, reframed in a way I’ve not heard and in bite sized, focused, concise episodes.♥️
Meh.
Didn’t resonate with me at all. Host is not convincing or relatable but I guess anyone can call themselves an “expert” and have a podcast these days. Eat the Rules is a much better podcast but maybe that’s just me. Idk. Won’t be listening to anymore episodes.
Personality like no other
I listen to podcasts solely based on if I actually get entertained while learning. REBEKAH DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. She makes me laugh, makes me seriously think, and ultimately leaves me with some kind of golden nugget that I’d rather not live without. Need. Need. NEED THIS POD.
