  • I'm so grateful for all the love and prayers from my coaching clients and group members during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in South Carolina.

  • While my family and home were spared, I'm deeply saddened by the devastation I've seen in the surrounding communities, especially inwestern North Carolina. Places I love and have made memories in have been destroyed.

  • Navigating this physical storm has mirrored my own personal emotional storms, like the major transition I'm going through at work and past experiences of grief and sorrow.

  • It's been important for me to allow myself to fully feel the range of emotions - from gratitude to grief - rather than suppressing them. Seeking support and creating moments of joy have been crucial coping strategies.

  • I encourage listeners to do the same, whether they're directly impacted or not. Grief and empathy can coexist with gratitude and hope, especially when grounded in our faith.

  • There is an ongoing need for aid, volunteering, and community support in the affected areas. I'll be organizing an opportunity for my family to go and help in the coming weeks.

  • Above all, I pray listeners will hold fast to resilience, patience, and a deeper relationship with God during life's storms, physical or otherwise. He is our true source of hope.
