Sarah Streyder is an exemplary mil spouse who did not feel there was a system set up for getting involved in the voting and advocacy process so, she set up that system. She has created the initiative Securefamiliesinitiative.org to empower the military community to share their stories and make a difference by educating the public. You guys are so fun to listen too and tips help a bunch thanks Karen for all the mommy advice I’m a new army wife my husband goes to basic training next month so I’m about to enter that mommy life alone but I’m sure it’s going to be awesome .! Missing them is the hardest😣But were so strong it’s going to be all worth the while. Thanks Ladies Keep Them Coming I’m going to need them for Journey up ahead and Godspeed to you both ❤️

I have a boyfriend maybe fiancée/ husband (hopefully soon) who will be entering the Navy and when I found out about this I was like “well, better educate myself”. I am so glad I stumbled across your podcast! I am new to the military spouse community (my husband is currently at Air Force BMT lol). You gals are such a breath of fresh air and have given me a ton of reassurance! You are both so fun to listen to and I laugh out loud in my car like I’m talking to a friend! Keep doing what you’re doing!
