Welcome back to the kitchen table. Being a parent means showing up for your kids in ways they may never fully see or understand—and one of the most important ways we show up is through prayer.
Ephesians 6:10-20 calls us to stand firm in faith and to pray with alertness. For our children, this means asking God to guide them, protect them, and work in their lives in ways only he can.
Prayer isn’t about saying the perfect words. It’s about coming to God with a heart that’s open and ready to ask for his help. When we pray for our kids, we’re doing more than hoping things work out—we’re inviting God into their lives, trusting his love and power to do what we can’t.
The truth is, no one will pray for your children like you will. Who else knows their dreams, fears, and quirks the way you do? The enemy would love for us to believe that our prayers don’t matter. Don’t buy into that lie. Our prayers are a gift we give our kids—a way to fight for them even when they’re out of our hands.
