Dear Hank & John

This podcast is both engaging, relaxing, and incredibly funny. When I get stressed out I listen to this podcast and it calms my nerves. The questions they answer are always funny and thought prevoking, I have learned so much. I am constantly binging the episodes and have probably listened to over 100 in the 3 months I have know about it. I have always been a fan of the Green brothers, but now more than ever.

Episode 400 features one of the most prescient, yet timeless, sentiments I’ve ever heard expressed: “to hold, at the same time, a sense of the need to hope, and a sense of the futility of effort.” Whether it’s discussing the conflicting inner thoughts of cats, or finding new ways to face the world, day by day, the Brothers Green bring their all to create a space of refuge and joy in this crazy world. Being a person is hard, and any advice given in good faith—serious or dubious—is welcome. Thanks for being here, week after week.

John and Hank are two of my favorite commute companions. After years of Vlogbrother viewership, listening to them attempt to stay on topic while answering listener questions, crack each other up, share the news about Mars and AFC Wimbledon, process current events and their own lives is a delight. Also, cannot wait to read Everything is Tuberculosis (There’s truly no way it could be bad, John. We’ve all enjoyed your shortform videos about it.), and small snack pretzels are the bane of my existence (thank you, Hank.).
