Judas Iscariot spent years close to Jesus, yet he never truly learned to love Him for who He was. Instead, Judas wanted Jesus to conform to his own plans, unwilling to surrender his will to God's greater purpose for his life. Similarly, many people become frustrated when their desires aren't fulfilled by God, failing to recognize that Jesus is ultimately in control of all things, and it is we who must follow Him.
