The BEMA Podcast
The BEMA Podcast is a walk-through of the context of the Bible and the Text itself, as well as surrounding history. We deconstruct our common readings of the Bible and attempt to reconstruct them through the lens of historical context. The main body of work is contained in Seasons 1–5, and we encourage you to start with episode 0 (or even -1) and continue in order through episode 204. Beyond that, we explore new topics, revisit old topics, and dive deeper into practical ways of living out the things we have learned together. BEMA Discipleship is a ministry of Impact Campus Ministries.

I have been going through every episode for the past 2 years. Marty is brilliant at explaining how he sees the Bible. I might not agree with all his points but all his points are a reflection of a well thought out love and respect for the text. His love for the text has spilled over into my world as a long time Catholic. This podcast has totally rejuvenated my relationship with Gid and Jesus. Thanks!!

I love having my western perspective challenged by these teachings. I’ve grown up in church and never heard most of this, which frustrates me. I’m thankful to be learning the original intention of the text, the Hebrew translations, and the cultural context. Absolutely love the show!
