    #45| Are you constantly hurrying through your life? 3 scriptures to help you slow down and why God wants you to.

    Do you struggle with never reaching the end of your to-do list? Does it always feel like you are hurrying to get the next thing done? Have you wondered if it will ever stop? As someone who wears a lot of hats, I know how easy it is to swept away by all the to-do’s. It is so satisfying to see those objectives move to the “to-done” list. But what isn’t satisfying is the overwhelm, the pressure, and the stress to get all of those boxes checked. Usually, when we have spent all of our energy doing all of the things, we are left weary and burdened. That’s not fun. But even as I write this, I believe God is calling us to slow down and be present, not just in the moment, but also with Him. He wants to be the ones to carry the weight of our world on his shoulders. And as you’ll see today, the best place to lay down our struggles and efforts, is at His feet. May your mind be at ease as you listen. Perhaps today, we can start a new trend. Instead of “busy-moms,” we can be “chill moms.” God loves you and so do I! P.S.
