Hi Lois and Emily!!! Being former IFB I had no idea what any of that was until the RFP lol…they opened my eyes and my relationship with the Lord has grown since being freed from legalism! I have been out of the IFB for nearly 18 year as but still had chains of legalism that because of the RFP I finally knew what those were and God freed me from them! That being said, hearing it from a woman’s perspective has been even more freeing! Thank you both for starting this podcast! It has been super eye opening and allowed me to grow even closer to the Lord! My favorite episodes to date are Sabbath rest and the love language episodes! They have all been amazing but those 2 spoke volumes to me! My husband and I own our own business in Paris, TN called Mockingbird Catering and we stay VERY busy! It’s hard for me to rest most of the time. Thank you for diving in to the scripture and for taking it at its word and not out of context! Keep up the good work and be encouraged that what the Lord has called y’all to with this ministry is absolutely helping us ladies out here in or out of the IFB!

There’s a whole lot of unpacking being done for those who have come out of legalistic Christianity and this podcast is helpful, enlightening, and encouraging to those who are thinking of leaving legalism, those who have recently left, and those who have been out for a while. Thank you for the time and dedication you have put into this podcast to build a community for those who feel so out of place.

Listening to episode 15..... I grew up so similar to Louis. Our home church in the USA is IFB and isn’t like this much now in 2021:) After getting married and moving overseas to serve the Lord with my husband, it took many years for me to realize it’s not all about appearance. Took me til age 45 to wear a tank top! Haha! Keep on going on! You are a blessing to many!
