Richie Woodhall joins Buncey to pick through the bones of a busy weekend. They get stuck into the main event in Dallas where Jake Paul beat Mike Tyson after the pair completed eight rounds in Dallas. They both agree they never want to see the former heavyweight world champion in a ring again. The highlight of the night was the fight between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, with Taylor winning a unanimous points decision. And we ask where it went wrong for Chris Billam-Smith as he lost to Gilberto Ramirez in Riyadh.

Ahead of two huge nights of boxing, Buncey catches up with Katie Taylor and Chris Billam-Smith. Katie is putting her super lightweight belts on the line against Amanda Serrano in Dallas on Friday, while CBS hopes to add the WBA cruiserweight belt to his WBO title when he faces Gilberto Ramirez in Riyadh the following night. As someone who is getting back into boxing in recent months, I find this podcast to be my favorite so far that covers the sweet science. I may not be a Brit, but I love the camaraderie that Steve and his guests and co-hosts have. I think my favorite interview he’s done so far was with Skye Nicolson, easily one of my favorite fighters. Not to mention the outstanding limited series he did with Lennox Lewis about Don King. Highly recommended and a must listen on my podcast rotation each week.

One of my favorite boxing podcasts but this episode was as bad as the heavyweight division at the minute. I loved it when buncey put it on the wbc president Thsts a good boxing journalist doing his job, I’m amazed you can sit and listen to frank and not once question the ridiculous things coming out his mouth, dubious gave him the best fight🤣🤣 he never one a round, ungano got in the round with fury after his last fight that’s what’s been planned all along all this inbetween we tried to do this we tried to do that, utter rubbish making a mockery of boxing come on buncey your better than that🥊🥊
