My favorite podcast

September 4th,2020 This podcast never disappoints. Lisa brings intelligent and talented guests into my life every week. Especially now, during the pandemic , I appreciate learning from her interviews. Most guest have written books that I add to my “Want to Read” list, and I follow them on Twitter and Instagram as well. Update: I’m still an avid listener! This week’s interview with lifestyle expert, author of the book ,” Style and Simplicity: An A to Z Guide to Living a More Beautiful Life,” was just the ticket for me. He had some simple, doable ideas for getting through the current social isolation. I look forward to Fridays because I get to listen to Lisa’s latest episode of her podcast. Her guests are always fascinating, and she is a gifted interviewer because she listens well and connects with her guests, allowing them to shine. I have taken to writing down my own Five Things every week. Thanks, Lisa! Final update: May 22, 2021 I will very much miss the 5 Things with Lisa podcast. I liked it so much that I created a fan page for it on Facebook. Lisa inspired me to create my own weekly 5 Things list during the past 4 difficult and sometimes depressing years. She is a fine interviewer with a good sense of humor, who allows her guests to express themselves. Note to Lisa: I’ll be following you on Instagram and Twitter, and checking your website for any announcements about your upcoming projects. And of course, I will follow your advice to “act natural!” Bye for now and best of luck always! Ellen
4-Stars b/c people don’t believe 5-Star averages

Great podcast. Deserves 5 stars but I’m helping the average be 4.5 stars. I heard that people are suspicious of online things with 5 star averages.
A not-to-miss podcast 💙

I’ve been with Lisa from the beginning of her podcast and haven’t missed a single one. I’ve really been with her from the beginning-beginning since I proudly owned The Preppy Handbook and College Book back in the days when an Izod was a Lacoste. Lisa is a marvelous interviewer and her guests are always fascinating, engaging, funny, and smart. I love hearing her and the guest’s “five things” whether they are reminders to enjoy a sunny day or a fun product recommendation.
Well booked and curated....

But Lisa’s unctuous imperiousness gets a tad much at times - she’s clinging to the hope of being and “it” girl again and it bleeds through. Be a humble grandma instead.
