My partner and I are John and June to the tee. We are thinking of this lifestyle and cannot believe our personalities are the same as John and June. I can’t stop listening!! Thank you both for changing my perspective of this lifestyle and how it’s ok to be yourself ❤️

I turned to this podcast when I was being sexually coerced by my ex partner when it came to his interest in swinging and threesomes. He too tried to weaponize my bisexuality to his advantage. I eventually pieced together that he was just a sex addict, and I was suffering from betrayal trauma and didn’t realize it. This podcast contains MULTIPLE episodes where the wife’s experience mirrors mine, and her husband says objectifying things about women that only a sex addict could come up with… I just hope that she’s keeping her eyes wide open and not afraid to ask the hard questions about their situation, because sexual betrayal can happen even in relationships where swinging and/or threesomes are taking place. It also sounds like he’s sexually coercing her and she’s joining in on the acting out, as a response to the fear of betrayal and abandonment. This is considered sexual abuse, and no matter how much you try to change, control or blame yourself for it, the sex addiction won’t abate until he gets into serious long term recovery. If you (the wife) ever need support, please check out support groups for betrayed spouses, like s-anon. You won’t regret it, and you’re not alone.
