Points and Miles is a new hobby for me so I was thrilled to learn about this podcast because I can’t get enough. Mary Ellen and Jo keep everything simple and fun and have a great mix of content with beginner tips, travel inspiration, and more complex topics such as stacking. They have great personalities and are easy to listen to!

When you listen to Mary Ellen & Joanna they make you feel like you are sitting at the table with them and one of the family. Their personalities are infectious, warm and welcoming! This show is full of education and they have an amazing guest lineup too!

This is a fun podcast to listen to. It’s nice getting a variety of perspectives and experiences since they feature frequent guests. It’s also nice hearing for more relatable content creators. So often the points and miles space features those who have globalist status and the flexibility to hop on every good business class redemption. This podcast is more relatable for average working people that just want to make the most of points and miles to plan some fun vacations.

This podcast (and MaryEllen and Jo!) have given me such helpful, realistic advice for how to use points and miles to get my larger family on vacations! We had our fourth child during the pandemic and we were home bound for so long. Travel is expensive especially when you have to multiple flights and tickets by 6 people AND we don’t fit in a standard hotel room anymore. But we’ve got our southwest companion passes now, inspired by this show! I’ve felt confident applying for new cards (some with annual fees I would never have dreamed of!) but MaryEllen and Jo encourage me that I can be wise with my credit card usage and strategically sign up for new cards to meet my travel goals!
