A Podcast Reborn: A Final Fantasy XIV Community Podcast

As the title says I won a contest to get an item gifted to me from the mog station for a user submitted thing where we talked about different games that could come to the golden saucer. I gave it some time after an initial email back and then essentially got ghosted. I tried emailing the podcast, and DMing the Podcast on Twitter. Messages were never read nor replied to. It’s been well over a year now and I know I’m never getting what I “won” and it soured me on the hosts of this show because I really did like listening to it.

Love this pod and the hosts seem cool but it’s a real shame to hear them shout out Zepla in the new episode considering how much she openly hurt the LGBT community earlier this year. She is not a creator I’d want send people to be blindly without knowing who she really is and how her fans treat LGBT people first.

I’ve been playing FFXIV for about a year now and I used to be really hardcore into WoW. I was also a little involved with the podcast community there, so I recently decided to start looking into FFXIV podcasts since it looked like I was in that game to stay. Hearing Rho brought me back to those golden days of the WoW podcast community and I’m pleased to say this group absolutely captures that magic. The hosts have great chemistry and their shared-yet-differing experiences and preferences make for great, dynamic conversation. The fact that there’s a history of WoW in the crew as well makes it feel more relatable to me. Loved the Hildibrand episodes, too. Would that Apple gave us more stars to award.

I just stumbled on this podcast today. Just a few friends talking FFXIV. What’s not to like. I even picked up a few tips.
