598. Professional drummer Doug Auwarter keeps the beat rock steady going through a stoke, and cancer and a career of over 40 years.

    Doug Auwarter is as good as they come. He is fine human being, friend and an exceptional drummer. Yes, he has made his living as professional drummer – playing and teaching. He is the author of “Essential Latin styles for the drum set,” and “Essential Rock for the drum set.”  He has played with the finest jazz musicians world-wide . Doug has also been to Brazil many times playing with their finest musicians.  Trust me, you will always be tapping your feet listening to any music Doug is playing.
