    604. Vision can be fooled, but not what you hear. David explains why the YJHTL podcasts are audio only.

    Seeing can trick you. Your hearing can’t, because hearing translates to thought. Seeing translates to a different filtering system. It can be deceiving, that’s how magicians make a living.      When we listen to each other and hear a truth, it resonates in our thinking - it permeates every fiber of our being. That is why listening commits more to the divine truth than seeing. That is why I don’t have a visual podcast. Seeing disrupts truly listening. When experiencing the meaning of words in the intellect then moving to an emotional response - that heightens our energy to divine exuberance. Listening allows our intellectual vision to achieve a higher reality that is unbiased with impartial facts that can and will lead us to meaning and new understanding.     602. Aaron Jackson’s global project, “Planting Peace’ fights every day for a more just, peaceful, loving world through their humanitarian deeds.

    Aaron Jackson is an American, human rights and environmental activist. He was raised in Destin, Florida and attended Valencia College until 2002. After backpacking around the world, he interned at The Homeless Voice, an advocacy group in Davie, Florida and became director of the COSAC Homeless Shelter. The first orphanages he opened in Haiti were established using money he made as a golf caddy while living in a homeless shelter in order to fund the orphanages. Aaron was named a CNN Hero in 2007 after leading a campaign to deworm children in Haiti.     Aaron’s Planting Peace is a global nonprofit organization founded for the purpose of spreading peace in a hurting world. Their projects focus on a range of humanitarian and environmental initiatives, including a multi-national deworming campaign; a network of orphanages and safe havens in developing countries; LGBTQ rights advocacy; the Equality House; and rainforest conservation efforts in the Amazon.   Planting Peace has successfully dewormed over 22 million starving children around the world. Planting Peace has been able to create and sustain a total of 6 orphanages. Four in Haiti and two in India. Planting Peace has rescued 5 elephants from slavery. Planting Peace founded the Equality House, a worldwide symbol and center for advocacy in the movement toward LGBTQ rights. The house sits right across the street from the Westboro Baptist Church. Planting Peace has purchased and protected 2008 acres of Amazon rainforest. Planting Peace has provided basic care such as medical aid, housing, and nutrition to roughly 80,000 refugees in Ukraine and in Bangladesh.     598. Professional drummer Doug Auwarter keeps the beat rock steady going through a stoke, and cancer and a career of over 40 years.

    Doug Auwarter is as good as they come. He is fine human being, friend and an exceptional drummer. Yes, he has made his living as professional drummer – playing and teaching. He is the author of “Essential Latin styles for the drum set,” and “Essential Rock for the drum set.”  He has played with the finest jazz musicians world-wide . Doug has also been to Brazil many times playing with their finest musicians.  Trust me, you will always be tapping your feet listening to any music Doug is playing.     If you love Brazilian music you will enjoy this podcast even more. Doug takes us inside his life and the head of a musically trained drummer and musician. I didn’t know until the interview that Doug had gone through a stroke and cancer.     Alfred Sauchelli Jr. began his career as an actor working on several projects with Robert De Niro and became one of the boys for quite some time. Al has had the pleasure of working with De Niro on several projects and shared screen time in Bronx tale, Analyze This, Analyze That and also had featured roles in Carlito's way, Sweet and Low Down (Woody Allen), Empire State and Find Me Guilty (Sydney Lumet) with over twenty years of experience, Al's also made several appearances on television shows both past and present. Alfred Sauchelli Jr. was born and raised in new Jersey where he currently resides with his wife and 5 children. He is currently on the series Gravesend on Amazon Prime.
