Late upload, but we are back again with another new episode of the Low End Marauders podcast! Nick holds things down again as he talks about how everyone is coming after Drake thanks to Future and Metro Boomin's new album We Don't Trust You. Nick gives his takes on Kendrick Lamar's verse on the much talked about track "Like That", if Kendrick does drop a diss track on Drake and if he should respond back. Plus, Nick quickly touches on Drake and Lil Wayne being caught in a picture using a teleprompter during a stop on Drake's tour. After that, Nelly stops by HBO's The Shop to say that he rapped in the hardest era to be number one. Among the likes of DMX, Jay Z, Eminem and many others. Nick breaks down each era of rap that he has lived through and gives his surprising answer on if Nelly is right. Later, Freaknik the documentary made it's way onto Hulu. The festival started in 1983 in Atlanta and soon became known as "black Spring Break" for students around the Atlanta area. The festival started to attract more and more students as its popularity grew throughout the 80s and 90s, but as the popularity grew, the more tense it got for students especially around 1996 with the Summer Olympics. Nick gives his review on the documentary and wonders if something as big as Freaknik could ever happen today in 2024. All that, plus, shout outs, album recommendation and more!!
