You Are Here

Keith Linton grew up in the projects in Brownsville, Brooklyn, New York. He knows what it's like to live meal to meal, eating government cheese. With his resilience and strong mindset, he dreamt bigger for himself. As a form of silent protest, he found his way into the Los Angeles Police Department and became a respected and accomplished police officer for 12 years. Until one day, he resigned from the force because he saw a bigger path for himself where he can affect change in the community he was serving in Watts, California.

He founded Boys2Gentlemen and Girls2YoungLadies, a non-profit that focuses on building social and emotional centric programming to young kids in Watts. He shares stories from his time in the force, what it's been like building this non-profit and what mindset it takes to get to where he is.
