Mark at the Mic has an insightful conversation Janet and Carl owners of the SSG the oldest RETAIL shop in Burlingame, 110years, and one of the oldest galleries in Calif.  The shop has changed hands only once in the 110 years; Janet's parents purchased the gallery in in 1955.  The shop has survived the Great Depression, the meltdown economy of 2008 and the 2020 Pandemic. The SSG features fine art and sculptures, year round exhibits featuring well known artists and newbies as well.  The SSG also offers museum quality framing and installation.  This podcast is a great listen for those interested in Burlingame history and art.
