Grandma still has lots to learn
3天前
I may be a grandma but I grew up when processed food was new and seen by many as a blessing. I’ve learned so much to the contrary in the past 10-15 years and this podcast has truly blessed me with much good food for thought. I especially love the podcasts about ancestral cooking from various countries and would love to hear more of that. Maybe Sweden? Please keep up the good work that you have begun!
Instructive and encouraging

I happened to find this podcast when I was looking for cooking podcasts to download for a long flight. I’m so glad I found it! I love to cook and to learn new cooking techniques, and I’ve gotten so many fun and delicious ideas from this podcast that align with how I want to eat to improve my health. Since I started listening, I’ve gotten into the habit of making milk kefir, beet kvass, fermented oat pancakes, fermented vegetables, bone broth, endless loaves of spelt bread, and have even rendered my own tallow! My fiancé is also a huge fan of my new cooking routines :)
A Bingeworthy Podcast

I love this podcast! I come from a family that ate real food made from scratch - my parents even milled their own wheat when I was a kid. And while I am very grateful for that upbringing I never knew the “why” behind the reason we ate differently than everyone else. And this podcast has helped me understand why nutrient dense food is so important not just for me but for my children and my children’s children. It has renewed my motivation to be even more selective with what my family eats even if it hurts my wallet a little more than I’d like. And there is still SO much more amazing food I am learning about that can be incorporated into our diet to ensure my family is set up for long term health success. Very educational and inspiring. And I would also encourage anyone who is thinking about it to become a patron. After thinking about if for months I finally did and can not be more amazed at the support and wealth of knowledge that community has provided. Thank you!
Ben Greenfield fail

I love this podcast. It relaxes me and reminds me to connect to myself when it comes to food and health. But y’all failed w Ben Greenfield. He was out of breath, rambled on, created such a sense of discomfort for the listeners. Yes, he gives great info but he’s hyperrrr masculine go go go go gooooo and that’s just not the vibe for this podcast. Eeeek
